Great for chemical resistance

Our Altafluor 400 PFA tubing is made from the highest possible molecular weight resins, which means that it has superior physical properties and is suitable for even the most demanding applications.

Altafluor 400 PFA tubing has a higher thermal stability than FEP, as well as a lower permeability. The tubing is translucent and has a moisture absorption of nearly zero. It’s ideal for food contact, as it is FDA compliant.

The tubing is available in both coiled hose and convoluted constructions and is suitable for use with flare and conventional fittings.

Good for maintaining high purity levels

Our Altafluor 480 UHP PFA tubing is ideal for applications like semiconductor and pharmaceutical processes that require chemical resistance while maintaining extremely high purity levels. The tubing also has low permeation levels and a smooth surface finish.

Unlike standard HP PFA tubing, Altafluor 480 tubing has flex life values that are comparable to PTFE tubing. It’s ideal for use with flare or conventional fittings and has lower permeation over standard PFA tubing. Some possible applications include chemical processes; insulation; heat exchangers; gas analyzing; emissions monitoring; laboratory applications; flow monitoring; and pharmaceutical purposes.

Best for safety

In cases where high purity and safety are primary concerns, Altafluor dual containment tubing is a good option. The tubing provides an integrated fluid flow solution. The inner tube is made from 100% virgin Daikin AP231SH UPH PFA resin, which ensures great overall performance in critical and aggressive applications, while the outer tube is made from 100% virgin grade FEP, which provides very good clarity for visual inspection and enhanced protection against damage from possible leaks during the chemical delivery process.

The tube-in-tube design of the product means that contaminants are not introduced during the installation process. The tubing can be provided in long continuous lengths, which reduces the need for excess connections and, as such, the overall system cost.

Some possible custom applications include laser marking; private labeling; and custom packaging. Additional sizes and material selections are available upon request.
